i definitely have no excuses for my absence in blogging...i think summer comes around and i have just about anything else on my mind besides this particular activity..but seeing as my summer has been insanely busy, and i've been gone for essentially an entire month, i decided it's about time i caught up...first things first--both my older brothers have become married to AMAZING girls since i last wrote...i just hope that when (and if) i get married, my choice in spouse will be half as good as my siblings..they have all pick amazing significant others, and i couldn't be happier with my sisters/brother-in-law...if 2 weddings in 3 months wasn't enough, there's also the wedding of my freshman roommate, jana, in no other city than las vegas..she was gorgeous and i am so happy for her! the best part of the weddings for me were the comments i had the pleasure of entertaining..of these comments, the most original had to be, "so, are you going to make it three weddings for your parents this year?" to which i was dying to respond, "why yes, how did you know we had a quota??" but i digress..here's just a few pictures from the major events..

just so you know, i have THE best siblings anyone could ask for...

my younger brother also got his mission call, which is a very bittersweet moment for me...

he leaves for the concepcion, chile mission on august 31..time is going WAY too fast for me!
the beginning of my summer was filled with wedding preparations, commuting to provo for work, and, for a couple of amazing weeks, having my whole family in one state...and of course, we were obligated to take my niece and nephew to the zoo while my brother and sister-in-law were in town...

honestly, could you ask for two cuter kids? (the answer here is NO, unless you're asking for a straight jacket)..the wedding madness was immediately followed by high school graduation from dear ol' davis high for drew...

thus concludes just the first quarter of my summer...stay tuned for the rest...
